about: A organisation in Singapore organises activities for Gays and Lesbians in Singapore, to build support, friendship and to promote positive lifestyle for the community living and travelling here. The group was founded on 28thNov2000.

We organise events which include weekly Outdoor Sports, Workshops, Music and Drama Group, Social Dance, Chill Out Regular Mega Party, Charity Fundraising, Trips, Interzone bowling and volleyball Challenge Trophy, Movie Screenings and more .. if you have any interest/hobbies to suggest .. do write.

Various support group like PFLAGS-Asia, Men>30 and Married Gay Men exist as part of our support programme too.

	We believe in building positive lifestyle for members through moral, legal and non-sexual social events.
	We believe in creating a positive environment where gay and bisexual men can build good support network within the gay community.
	We welcome men, regardless of sexual orientation, martial status, race, language, religion, place of birth and age to join our social events.
	We hope to build a network, first within Singapore, and then extend it to oversea members.
	We believe in doing community works, and strive to have community service at least twice a year
	We encourage fairly strong participations from members.

Who is it for? We cater our activities for the gay community, but we do welcome gay friendly people to be a part.

Is it only for Men? We do have lesbian ladies among us too, there is a progarmme RoseOfAsia, exclusively for lesbian womyn.

How to join? 1) Do join the MAW yahoogroups, for all sharings, events notifications are distributed, to join this mailing list .. its FREE. Do know that various activities are signed up separately, usually through poll, then registration ...

I'm NEW, I'm worried about meeting Strangers! We understand, if you are not comfortable, do join our monthly MAWkids event, for newbies to get to know more better ... if you are more bold .. just take part in any activity you love .. don't worry, MAWers are friendly .. you will be surprised. Give the ICs a call before you attend the event, they will make you comfortable.
