[Dave
Teo] Hi
guys, Just like to share my thoughts after attending
my "virgin" activity, Bowlerama, with MAW. It was a
wonderful afternoon, my friends (Peter Lee and Steve
Teo) and I had a lot of fun. Looking forward to the
next bowling event.
I have always wanted to join MAW activities, especially
Karaoke and Wall Climbing, but lack the courage to make
the first move. For bowlerama, it was because I had
my friends with me that I decided to join the event.
I
have to say that you guys are very friendly and a fun
bunch to be with. I was part of the East Zone (those
at lane 19, next to the North Zone), together with Kannan,
Will, Yao Min and Sham (hopefully I got your names right).
Though we were separated from the rest of the "Sheena
Easterners" (that's what our leader, Jay said), we still
managed to have fun and bowl our hearts out!!
The
bowling was quite competitive (there were indeed a number
of goodbowlers who can easily beat Jesmine Ho anyday).
; ) But at the end of the day, we were there for the
fun and at the same time know more people and expand
our social circle. Winning the game is definitely not
our top priority!!
After
the event, Peter and I managed to have a chat with Calvin,
who was most willing to fill us in on the other activities
of MAW. Thank you for all the information. We'll need
further info on the sign language thingy. ; p
Too
bad we couldn't join you guys at Cinecafe after the
bowling. Was rushing off to Lot 1 for the closing event
of the Singapore Arts Festival, a show filled with drums,
music, beats and pyrotechnics!!
Thank
you, Shenzi and the organising committee. I am looking
forward to joining other MAW events in the future.
Regards, Dave Teo
