Weekly badminton on Wednesday (East Zone) Thursdays
(West Zone) from 7-9pm, at Clementi
Sports Hall. If you are new, register then give the
IC a buzz, they will be glad to assist you!
Date:
every Wednesday and Thursday night, any change will be announced
through
the mailing
list. We adjourn for supper after the game is
over.
Where: Clementi Sports Hall (West Zone), 5 min's walk
from Clementi MRT station.
Tampines Sports Hall
or Bedok Sports Hall (East
Zone). Court numbers will be emailed weekly.
What to bring: only
need to bring a racket, shuttle cocks are provided.

Monthly Badminton Doubles
League Begins in June 2004

$5 per person per session attended

Champion and Runner-up teams for both June
and July will be
fully sponsored to participate in the MAW Straits
Games 2004 on 6th August 2004**

We are looking for Badminton Coaches. The coach
must fulfill the following requirements :
(1) has Technical Certificate Level 1, 2 or 3;
(2) has at least 2 years adult coaching
experience;
(3) be registered with SSC as a badminton coach;
(4) must be gay-friendly; and
(5) has good temperament and ideally a good
motivator.
He should be able to produce some referee to his
coaching ability.
If you know of anyone to recommend, or your friend
fulfills the above, please let me know or ask the
interested person to send his credentials to me via
sebastian6868@yahoo.com.sg.
If he would like to clarify matters, he can contact me
(Sebastian) at 9841-6384.
For a start, we are looking at :
(1) either a personal coaching session (at
beginner and intermediate level) at the West Zone; OR
(2) a series of clinics over the coming year for
our various badminton zones.
For those of the existing badminton regulars who are
interested in personal coaching, please let your
respective IC know. We need to take stock
whether there is enough number to engage one.
Please also indicate to your IC what is the coaching fee
that you are willing to pay (per hour per month). |
