with discipline and zest ... friendships developed.
Recruiting Fresh Blood
We are recruiting fresh blood so that we can have a
complement of 25 able-bodied men to row a large
dragonboat, just like the halcyon days of early 2003.
We train every Saturday, rain or shine unless there is a
thunderstorm. You should be able to swim 50m in open
waters, but apart from that, no prior dragonboat
training is required.

New dragonboat coach available for competition but
we need more dragonboaters.... |
We have managed to secure the services of a coach to
improve our skills in dragonboating. We now have
about 18 dragonboaters but need 7 more to make up
the full complement of 25. With our new coach we can
only improve from our previous performance, and hope
to enter a competition sometime in the new future to
test our team. We welcome you to join us in this
exciting activity, which may well become a regular
fixture of your weekend social calendar. |
